Track Paradox Black

Two years ago we brough you a revolutionary new ball that got heads turning. The demand to bring this ball back has been overwhelming, but we wanted to one up it. How could we possibly make the original paradox any better? By making it in black, of course!

The QR-9 cover is an extremely quick response coverstock. When combined with the 500/2000 sanded finish of the Paradox Black, it will red the midlane very strong and have a very continuous backend motion on heavy oil patterns.

I-CORE 2.0
The birth of the I-Core brought Track back to the forefront of the industry in revolutionary core design. The I-Core 2.0 was a tweak in design to increase the overall flare potential by over 1". This larger flare potential is one of the main components in the Paradox’s ability to create such unique ball motion.

Great strong ball at an upper mid range price.
The Paradox Black is just as good as the original Paradox. If you're looking for that big ball with surface but looking to stay in that upper mid range price point this is the perfect ball. It is really strong in the mid lane and just eats through the oil. I have one drilled pin down and on drilled pin up. MY pin down one gives me a little earlier roll with a smother predictable backend while the pin up one is a little longer and stronger at the breakpoint. This is a ball you can not go wrong with.

A must have in your bag
The only thing that really needs to be said about this ball is it's as good or better than the original. If you liked the original, or regretted not getting the original, this is a must have,

Paradox Black

Layout: 45 x 5 3/8 x 40
Balance hole: P3

The original Paradox was a great ball that brought much success for Track. Paradox Black may be even better! Proven I-Core 2.0 core wrapped with a QR-9 Hybrid cover makes this a great tournament ball. This ball likes oil and can dig through the heaviest patterns.

Paradox Black is about one or two feet cleaner than the original Paradox and is definitely more continuous. I find myself being able to use Paradox Black longer through the day when comparing to the original Paradox. This bowling ball likes to roll early and be a little straighter in the backend. I choose this ball for fresh conditions with higher volumes. This ball matches up very well on medium to shorter patterns for me.

Back in Black, Same Great Ball
The Track Paradox is flat out one of the best balls I have ever thrown!!!
That is how I started my review when the original Paradox came out in 2015. The Paradox Black is no different. I drilled mine up with the pin above and right of the ring finger (25x3 7/8”x35) and worked it on WTBA 43’ Tokyo pattern. I am amazed whenever I see the mid-lane strength and the strongest arcing motion I’ve ever seen in a bowling ball (as opposed to the skid/flip sudden change of direction). I expect to be able to use this ball to my advantage on any pattern 43’ or longer. NOTE: This ball with this layout was “too much ball” for me on a THS – but a different layout to tame the mid-lane strength would make this an excellent choice on the “puddle in the middle” for league nights.
If you are a serious tournament bowler – especially if you loved your original Paradox (which you have probably worn out by now) – you really NEED the Paradox Black in your bag.

The Paradox Black is a must have. The Paradox Black is a little more aggressive then the original Paradox. Still a very versatile ball. The Black gives a little more motion in the front part of the lanes.

Best all around ball
What can I say this is one of the best all around balls on market. If you need something on fresh to pick up but still continue on back end. This ball is what you need. Plenty of mid lane read. But still continues thru the pins. Another great thing is this ball takes shine and can be used on little burnt up lanes. Gives it little more length with more back end.

Paradox in black is even better
Paradox Black is no joke. All numbers, core, coverstock matches up with the original, but in my opinion, the Paradox Black rolls even better and hits harder. Paradox is my favorite line in Track and glad to see this ball back on the market. This ball is for medium-heavy oil conditions.
