I tried a new layout on the Columbia 300 Savage. 90 x 2.25" x 70. This ball has the ultimate control of the pocket. Very strong cover that picks up in the oil. This is the most continuous Asymmetric ball in my arsenal right now.
I can miss left into the oil and it continues enough to get the 10 out. I can miss right into the friction and it doesn't over hook on me.
I am very impressed with this ball on a variety of patterns as well. Bowling on House, 35', and 48', it strikes on EVERYTHING!
The Savage is a special ball. Throwing big asymmetrical balls in the past like this haven't really matched up to my game. This ball though sees the mid lane very well and is really strong and continuous at the breakpoint. I was very surprised by its ability to conserve its energy and not burn up. This is a great ball for heavier oil conditions.
The Columbia 300 Savage replaced the C300 Lit. The ball to me is reading the mid lanes better then the Lit. The Savage is just as strong as the Lit on the backend. The colors of the Savage make reading the ball very easy.
