FCC Rating (22.75)
In the 1980’s, Hammer was known as “Faball Enterprises” and was the industry leader in urethane technology and performance. Over the past few years, we have gone back to our roots and brought back the Black and Purple Pearl Urethane. Hammer is excited to bring this same trusted urethane formula to the Black Widow line and wrap it around our most iconic core. This combination will give you more overall hook than traditional urethane while maintaining the predictability that a urethane coverstock provides.
The 500 Abralon sanded finish gives the Black Widow Urethane the perfect amount of roll in the mid lane.
CORE (8.75)
Our legendary Gas Mask Core creates a strong overall ball motion that never quits.
The urethane cover is the definition of controlled motion.

High Flaring Urethane
I love throwing urethane bowling balls, and the Black Widow Urethane just adds to the excitement! I've drilled this one with the CG in my center of grip with the pin next to my ring finger. This ball has an early roll like a usual urethane ball would, but this one kind of stands up in the middle, and has some extra hook on the backend. The flare on this ball is also truly unbelievable! Its definitely the strongest urethane I've ever thrown.
